Visible Mending Sashiko Boro Style - Sunday April 20 - 4pm to 6pm
Save money and your favorite clothes by mending them instead of throwing them away! In this class you’ll learn the basic hand-mending techniques of Japanese sashiko and boro style mending to create visible, decorative mends. No prior sewing or embroidery skills are required for this beginner level class.
Class fee covers 2 hours of instruction and basic materials kit (practice fabric, sewing needle, thread, embroidery hoop). Some patch fabric material is available for use during class. Students may bring a garment that needs mending for advice or to work on during class or can practice techniques on provided fabric.
Cancellation policy: Full refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the class time. A 50% refund will be granted if shop is notified of cancellation in the 72 hours prior to the class time. No refunds will be granted for no call/no show students.
